I went on a food trip to New York and was fortunate enough to eat at Per Se and Masa in the same weekend. Masa is definitely one of the priciest restaurant I’ve been to but I’m glad I got to experience it at least once. We chose to pay the additional $100 per person for the Kobe beef dish but in my opinion it was just okay. Masa reminded me of Urasawa but with more exotic raw fish.

The menu consisted of approximately 6-7 appetizers and 20+ pieces of sushi.

They don’t allow pictures inside so I don’t have any pictures of the food.

I was fortunate enough to get a reservation at Per Se a couple of years ago and LOVED everything there! Thomas Keller is by far my favorite chef at the moment and I can’t wait to try out French Laundry next month. Per Se is my absolute favorite restaurant right now and I can’t wait to go back!
